Thrust Area
To take quality higher education at the door step of downtrodden students of Govindpur.
To cater the educational needs of the deprived and marginalised sections of the society.
To motivate the students to face the challenges in their Careers and personal lives by providing gainful opportunities.
To promote knowledge of Social preservance and environmental sustainability.
Paving the way to become a model college with the goals of excellence, knowledge and preservance.
Proposed plan for 2022
Teaching and Learning Plan
Development of more smart class rooms with state- of- art facilities.
Use of more LCD and laptops in teaching and learning.
Extensive use of online Teaching and Learning resources (INFLIBNET ).
More MoUs for Student and Teacher Exchange Programmes.
Research and Development Plan
Promote faculty members to have at least one major/ minor project.
Conduct more International Level Conferences and Workshops.
Setting up language lab in the college.
Setting up Start-Up cell in the college.
Promote participation in International conferences/ seminars/workshops/symposium.
Promote participation of staff members in FDPs like refreshers and orientation programmes.
Community Engagement Plan:
More tie-ups with NGOs.
Adoption of more Village.
Assist government and local bodies in Community projects.
Student Support and Progression :
For Students
All the meritorious students from academic, NSS, NCC, cultural, sports and research activities will be felicitated by offering cash prizes, mementos and certificates.
The college will establish Health Centre where first aid and basic medical facilities will be made available for the students. The services of doctor will be made available in emergency.
All the students will be insured under Group Insurance Scheme.
The college will have a Centre for Career Guidance, Placement and Counseling which will provide career guidance and placement facilities to the students.
The college will organize welcome ceremony to the fresher’s and farewell to the outgoing graduating students.
For Alumni
Alumni will be invited for social, cultural and academic programmes of the college.
Library and reading room facilities will be extended to the alumni.
Career guidance and placement services will be provided to the alumni.
